Swim in the World’s Highest Swimming Pool: Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool, Singapore
Hovering 650 ft (200 m) above the ground over three skyscrapers is the world’s largest and classiest infinity pool: the Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool. It spans three times the length of an Olympic pool and is longer than the Eiffel tower itself. At the same time, it offers the most magnificent view of Singapore’s dreamy skyline and the exclusive services of a £4 billion five- star hotel, making it one of the world’s most expensive luxury getaways.
Opened in 2010, the 492 ft (150 m) infinity swimming pool is part of the Marina Bay Sands complex, which was designed by architect Moshe Safdie. The Marina Bay Sands Hotel skyscrapers consists of 2,560 rooms costing £350 a night. Unfortunately, the Infinity Pool is accessible only to guests. However, non-residents can get a feel of the view through the nearby Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck.
